Heh. Good for Dad! The first Christmas my man and I were together, he bought me a revolver and we were both to excited to shoot it to wait until the indoor range opened, so in the freezing cold we went out to an unsupervised outdoor range by my parents and shot. It helped that I had given him a coach gun that morning!
